Longtemps, j’ai voulu que tout soit parfait.
Je voulais une maison parfaite, un mari parfait, des enfants parfaits, un corps parfait, une vie parfaite.
Pas besoin de vous dire qu’évidemment je n’y suis pas arrivé et qu’en plus cela m’a rendu malheureuse pendant de nombreuses années.
Je me suis souvent rendue malade parce que tout n’était pas parfait (d’après mes critères):
-
j’avais quelques kilos en trop
-
mes enfants n’étaient pas toujours sages comme des images
-
je faisais des erreurs de grammaire (je vis en Allemagne)
-
ma maison n’était pas propre et rangée aussi bien que dans les magazines
-
le temps lors d’une fête que j’organisais n’était pas comme je l’aurais voulu
-
Je n’avais pas trouvé assez d’activités à faire pour des amis qui étaient venus me voir
-
Je n’avais pas fait à manger parfaitement (mon dîner n’était pas presque parfait) 😉
-
je n’avais pas eu 20/20 à mon examen
-
je n’avais pas été première à ma compétition
Et puis un jour, j’ai eu un déclic.
Je me suis rendue compte que les moments heureux n’étaient pas ceux que je croyais. Ce n’était pas le fait que tout était parfait qui rendait le moment heureux mais ce que moi je faisais de ce moment.
Ce sont les pensées qui m’habitaient et les émotions provoquées par ces pensées qui faisaient que ce moment était heureux.
C’est lorsque j’ai compris cela que j’ai commencé à vivre vraiment à cent pour cent le moment présent.
C’est en se concentrant sur le présent et sur tout ce que l’on vit maintenant en acceptant les bons et les mauvais côtés que l’on profite vraiment de la vie et de ce qu’elle a à nous offrir.
J’ai cessé de me demander si tout était parfait, si tout le monde était satisfait, si tout allait comme il faut et j’ai commencé à tout accepter et à juste vivre maintenant.
Ce sont d’ailleurs souvent les moments „imparfaits“ qui nous restent gravés dans le cœur.
Ces moments forts, imprévus et même drôles parfois comme
-
un orage avec pluies diluviennes pendant une fête d’anniversaire avec barbecue dans le jardin
-
une nuit dans un hôtel bizarre perdu dans la campagne après une panne de voiture
-
un bouchon sur la route au milieu de la nuit qui se transforme en concert-karaoké dans la voiture car on décide tous de chanter pour passer le temps
-
une ballade de 2 heures qui se transforme en escapade de 5 heures à travers les bois dans le noir parce qu’on ne retrouve plus son chemin…(tout est du vécu)
Plusieurs années plus tard, vous vous souvenez de ces événements avec nostalgie alors que les moments parfaits pendant lesquels tout s’est passé comme il le faut sont oubliés ou vagues dans votre esprit (c’était en quelle année déjà ?).
Ce déclic m’a aussi permis de comprendre que les autres m’appréciaient pour mes qualités tout en acceptant mes défauts et que c’est aussi ce que je devais faire avec ceux que j’aime et surtout ce que j’ai décidé de faire avec moi-même.
C’est en acceptant ses propres défauts et donc ses imperfections que l’on peut s’aimer soi-même et que l’on peut alors aimer les autres tels qu’ils sont.
Certains défauts peuvent même devenir des qualités, tout dépend de ce que l’on en fait.
Mes imperfections m’aident dans beaucoup de situations:
Je suis curieuse: c’est ce qui fait que je m’intéresse beaucoup aux autres, cela me permet d’avoir beaucoup d’amis car beaucoup de monde aime qu’on s’intéresse à eux et cela me pousse à toujours apprendre plus.
Je suis têtue: c’est ce qui m’a permis de persévérer et de ne pas tout laisser tomber lorsque j’ai vécu des moments difficiles.
Je suis impatiente: cela me pousse à tout mettre en œuvre pour obtenir rapidement ce que je veux et cela me motive pendant les coups de blues.
Et vous, quels sont vos plus belles imperfections ?
