Comme promis, la suite de cette listes des choses qu’il faut arrêter de faire pour être heureux. J’espère que vous vous avez déjà bien réussi à stopper certaines de vos mauvaises habitudes. Si plusieurs d’entre elles continuent à vous poser problème, ne vous en faites pas, c’est en forgeant que l’on devient forgeron 🙂
6. Arrêtez de mal vous parler
Vous avez comme tout le monde une petite voix à l’intérieur qui vous parle sans cesse. C’est ce qu’on appelle le discours intérieur.
Il peut être motivant ou destructif.
Ceux qui l’utilisent bien ont un discours intérieur comme ceci:
- Je vais y arriver
- Plus que 2 kilomètres
- Si je continue comme cela, je vais gagner
- Cela va sûrement marcher
- Ce haut me va à ravir
Ceux qui l’utilisent mal ont un discours qui ressemble plus à ceci:
- Je fais n’importe quoi
- Mais quel idiot je suis
- J’ai encore dit des bêtises
- J’aurais mieux fait de fermer mon clapet
- Je ressemble à rien
Si votre petite voix intérieure vous parle comme dans le deuxième exemple, il est temps de changer votre discours pour qu’il devienne plus motivant et pour enfin devenir votre propre ami plutôt que votre ennemi.
7. Arrêtez de critiquer les autres
Comme je l’ai écrit dans un article précédent, la critique peut être destructive ou constructive.
Essayez de prendre l’habitude de faire des compliments avant critiquer.
Faites deux compliments pour une critique.
Vous pouvez commencer dans votre tête afin de le faire correctement, ce n’est pas aussi facile que cela en a l’air.
8. Arrêtez de faire l’autruche
Ne faites pas comme si tout allait bien lorsque votre situation n’est pas bonne, lorsque vous avez des dettes ou des problèmes de couple.
- Regardez les problèmes en face et
- faites ce qu’il faut pour les régler et
- faites le maintenant.
Les problèmes ne se résolvent pas tous seuls.
Il ne suffit pas d’attendre que l’autre comprenne enfin ce que vous voulez ou que les autres changent.
C’est à vous d’agir.
9. Arrêtez de vivre autre-part
Beaucoup de personnes ne vivent pas ici et maintenant.
Il est très facile de s’en rendre compte, il suffit de tendre l’oreille et de les écouter parler. Cela donne un discours comme suit:
Ceux qui à force de penser au futur oublient le présent:
- Plus que trois jours jusqu’au week-end et je pourrai enfin me reposer
- Plus que trois heures jusqu’à la fin de mon service
- Plus que trois mois jusqu’aux vacances
- Plus que trois ans jusqu’à la retraite
Ceux qui à force de penser au passé ne vivent pas le présent:
- Si mes parents avaient fait ceci ou cela, j’irais mieux maintenant
- Si j’avais fait des études, je serais médecin et pas travailleur à la chaîne
- Si j’avais fait ceci ou cela, j’aurais ceci ou cela
- Si j’avais su, j’aurais pas venu 😉
Ceux qui pensent que l’herbe est plus verte dans le jardin du voisin:
- Quand j’aurai assez d’argent, j’irai vivre dans le sud
- Je serais heureux si j’avais la voiture, la maison ou l’argent de untel
- Si je vivais aux USA, je serais sûrement plus heureux
Toutes ces manières de penser empêchent de vivre le moment présent et d’apprécier la vie et tout ce qu’elle nous offre.
Bien sur, ce n’est pas tout rose et la vie n’a pas que des bons côtés mais il y a TOUJOURS des bons côtés dans toutes les situations.
Il suffit de les chercher de d’être reconnaissant lorsqu’on les a trouvés.
10. Arrêtez de faire semblant
N’essayez pas d’être la personne que les autres veulent que vous soyez.
Soyez la personne que vous désirez être.
Soyez vous-même
Soyez la personne que vous aimez, il est important que vous soyez fidèle à vos convictions et à l’image que vous vous faites d’une bonne personne.
Ne faites pas des choses contraires à vos convictions juste pour faire comme tout le monde ou parce que vous pensez que les autres veulent que vous les fassiez.
Ayez assez confiance en vous pour vous affirmer et pour vivre comme vous l’entendez et être fière de la personne que vous êtes.
